Rams volleyball celebrates 50th anniversary while extending CVC streak
The Fresno City College volleyball team continued its dominance in the Central Valley Conference.
The Rams swept Coalinga 25-21, 25-21, 25-23, in a Central Valley Conference match, on the night when the team was celebrating their 50th anniversary game on Oct. 17.
Some of the former Rams players made an appearance at the gym and met with the current players, and posed for pictures.
There has been plenty of success along the way by the former Rams players, and that has continued under Kieran Roblee and her current team, which is ranked in the state at No. 10.
Roblee is in her ninth season with the team. Her overall record is 243-39 and is 135-0 in the CVC.
In 2024, she passed former coach Tracy Ainger Schulte for the most wins in school history.
The Rams (17-4, 4-0) will visit College of the Sequoias in a CVC match at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Fresno City will return home Oct. 24 to face Porterville. That match is set for 6 p.m.
