It has been a dominating season for the Fresno City College baseball team.
The Rams showed their dominance in the Central Valley Conference, winning an outright title after an 11-4 victory over College of the Sequoias on April 14. The CVC title game gave the school its 43rd conference title and marked its fifth straight CVC championship.
In the win, the Rams broke a 2-2 tie with a four-run fifth inning, highlighted by Drake Davis' two-run double and Dallan Alles' two-run home run—his second homer of the game. Davis added a three-run homer in the eighth inning to cap Fresno City's scoring.
Ranked No. 2 in the most recent state poll, the Rams also kept Wyatt Johnson undefeated on the mound at 8-0. Johnson scattered six hits and allowed two runs, neither earned.
Fresno City (36-3 overall, 22-1 CVC) will wrap up conference play against Reedley at 2 p.m. Thursday at FCC Diamond.
