The Fresno City College women's basketball team took a little time to find its rhythm, but pulled away for a decisive 72-47 win over Reedley in a Central Valley Conference game on Jan. 24.
The Rams and Tigers played evenly in the first half, but Fresno City made crucial adjustments at halftime.
Those changes paid off as the Rams outscored Reedley 39-23 in the second half, rolling to their sixth straight victory and improving to 15-6 overall and 5-0 in conference play.
Fresno City was led by Deja Lee and Jaelyn Bourdeau, who each scored 11 points. Alyssa Kem added 10 points for the Rams.
Earlier in the week, on Jan. 21, Fresno City defeated Lemoore 77-56. Sara Shein led the team with 16 points in that contest.
The Rams will be on the road at Porterville on Jan. 28 before returning home on Feb. 7 to face Merced.
