The Fresno City College women's soccer team's season came to an end Tuesday after a 2-0 loss to Sierra in the third round of the CCCAA Northern California regionals.
The seventh-seeded Rams and the No. 2-seed Wolverines were scoreless at halftime, but Sierra scored twice in the second half for the win.
Fresno City had a 4-1 advantage in shots but could not put the ball in the back of the net. Sierra picked it up in the second half, outshooting the Rams 8-2.
Rams goalkeeper Zaray Flores had one save.
Fresno City finished the season at 19-3-1, including a 16-0 record in the Central Valley Conference.
